Why I built iKnow Blockchain

A clearer way to understand what different blockchains actually offer.

I built iKnow Blockchain because I wanted a clearer way to understand what different blockchains actually offer.

Every community has people who know its roadmap and care deeply about its future. But comparing those stories is difficult. What has actually shipped? What does a release change? Which tradeoffs matter for a particular use? And what does activity in a code repository really tell us?

The project started with the Chia blockchain. That starting point made equal treatment especially important to me. I wanted a place where a chain's visibility, market size or ability to fund work could not buy it a different evidence standard.

iKnow Blockchain brings lessons, sources, comparisons and public-data tools into one place, on the website and inside AI assistants. The aim is to help people follow the evidence, understand the limits and form their own conclusions.

What it is and is not

  • It is read-only education, sourced news, side-by-side comparisons and public-data lookups.
  • It never holds wallet keys, signs, broadcasts or makes transactions, and it gives no investment advice.
  • It covers 151 chains under one evidence standard, in alphabetical order, with none featured.
