Connect your AI

Bring iKnow Blockchain into your AI assistant.

Add one connection to Claude or ChatGPT. Your AI can then explain concepts, compare documented characteristics, follow reviewed developments and request supported public-data lookups. It is free and read-only.

The website catalogue contains 151 chains. The current AI connection serves 14; check its returned coverage for supported tools and limits.

Connection address

https://mcp.iknowblockchain.com/mcp

This is an MCP server: the Model Context Protocol lets an AI app call tools on a server you add. iKnow Blockchain's tools only read public data.

Sign-in and access

Free. No payment, wallet, seed phrase or private key is ever needed.

Sign-in required. Your AI app opens a sign-in page (Auth0) the first time it connects.

Right now the service admits accounts that are on its access list. If yours is not, the connection answers with error 403 after sign-in. Email [email protected] and we will add it. Opening access to every signed-in account is the next step.

Claude

Owner sign-in and two real tool calls passed in Claude (Free plan) on an earlier iKnow Blockchain address. Sep 18, 2026. Not yet re-checked on the current address.

  1. In Claude on the web or desktop, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector. Name it iKnow Blockchain and paste the connection address.
  3. Select Connect and sign in when the sign-in page opens.
  4. In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure iKnow Blockchain is turned on. Then run the connection check below.

Menu names can differ between Claude versions and plans.

ChatGPT

Owner testing passed on an earlier iKnow Blockchain address. Sep 18, 2026. Not yet re-checked on the current address.

  1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
  2. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode if your plan requires it for custom connectors.
  3. Choose Create, name it iKnow Blockchain, paste the connection address and choose OAuth sign-in.
  4. Sign in when asked, then enable the connector in a new chat and run the connection check below.

Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and settings, and menu names change between versions.

Connection check

A harmless first question that reads no wallet and changes nothing:

Use iKnow Blockchain to show which blockchains it covers and what it can do for one of them. Link the source.

You should see a coverage list with each chain's features and limits, and a source link. If your AI answers without calling iKnow Blockchain, check that the connector is turned on for the chat.

If something goes wrong

401
Sign in again. An expired or invalid sign-in is refused.
403
Your account is signed in but not on the access list yet. Email [email protected].
429
Too many requests for now. Wait for the time the answer gives, then retry.
503
The service is unavailable. It does not mean an address holds nothing.
Old tool names
After an update, refresh or reconnect the connector so your AI sees the current tools.

Help: [email protected]. Include your AI app and version, the time and the question; never send a password, token or private key.
